The Green Screen neighborhood environmental films
The Green Screen is a new Street Air program that identifies neighborhood environmental issues and brings them to the public's attention through the use of film. We call it a persistent film festival as the site will add new content for viewing as it is created. This compares to having to wait a year for screening at a formal film festival-if your film is accepted for screening. We believe issues you are concerned about should be brought to the public's attention as soon as possible.
We hope to expand interest in this process and plan to post community environmental films from neighborhoods around the world.
One of our goals is to get a 2-5 minute film on each neighborhood in San Francisco, or multiple films from each neighborhood if there is more than one community issue to research and document.
